Biography
Mila Molinari (born Mila Spigolon) is a Hollywood-based Brazilian/Italian Actress, Singer, Dancer, Producer, Choreographer and award-winning Burlesque dancer. She has been entertaining and teaching all over the world for over 15 years.Mila combines various different styles in her performances, including feather fan dance, swing & jazz age dances, singing, tap dance and comedy, all inspired by carefully crafted world of the glamorous Old Hollywood Musicals with elaborated choreography, costuming and presence, which sets her apart from anything present including the exotic flavor that she brings from her home country combined with her European background and American vernacular influences.Miss Mila is a Clown/Magician’s daughter and grew up in Brazil surrounded by rabbits, puppets, sequins and top hats performing and touring with her family’s circus troupe since she was a child as a dancer, singer, aerialist, clown and magician’s assistant.In 2014 she moved to Los Angeles and created TROPICAL FOLLIES – A Vaudevillian Extravaganza. A musical revue that celebrates the Latin American culture featuring Dance, Music, Comedy & Variety. Where she produced, directed, wrote comedy sketches and designed costumes. The show was originally debuted at the world famous “Cicada Club” and made it’s way to other Venues in the US including Palm Springs and a California Tour in 2021.Her Burlesque career took off after being nominated Miss Burlesque Idol 2015 and since then she has been working alongside the most influential performers and producers in the variety world including Tosca’s ‘Tarantina’ show and Dita Von Teese.In the past years Mila started to explore more of the world she is most passionate about: Cinema. Making her first appearances in Oscar nominated films including Damien Chazelle’s Babylon and David Fincher’s Oscar Winning Mank.Screen credits also include A Miracle Before Christmas (2022), Shannyn Sossamon’s The Maude Room: A Variety Show (2021), Pete Molinari ‘No Ordinary Girl’ and Pokey LaFarge ‘Fine to Me’ Music Videos.Mila is currently working on her debut EP and her first single & music video “Lagrima Agridoce” is set to be released alongside her Fall/Winter 2023 European tour with her creative partner and husband Pete Molinari, acclaimed British singer songwriter.While Mila has performed on stages all over the world, she can regularly be spotted at Los Angeles classiest venues and red carpet events including performing at Paramount Studios Babylon World Premier at the Academy Museum (2022) and the Magic Castle Awards Show (2018).
